Confronting the challenge of e-waste
On Thursday 16th October, Blackmore UK will join representatives from WWF-UK, Material Focus, The Restart Project, and Resource Futures for a live panel discussion exploring how we can make meaningful progress in reducing WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) across the UK.
The session will explore:
- The current state of e-waste in the UK and globally
- What’s working and what isn’t in tackling the issue
- How collaboration across industry, government, and the third sector can drive real impact
- The innovations and community initiatives that are shifting attitudes toward reuse, repair, and circular recovery
Looking ahead: transforming recycling systems
The second #UrgentConversation takes place on 4th November, where Susan Evans, Policy Lead at Resource Futures, will be joined by Charlotte Stamper (The Circularity Collective), Derek Wiseman (DEKMAR Ltd), and Jim Brown (Optimum Eco Group).
This session will focus on the next frontier in recycling how pioneering facilities are delivering better value, higher quality, and stronger reuse and repair outcomes.
Our commitment to circular IT
At Blackmore UK, we believe that secure, circular IT asset management is an essential part of tackling the e-waste crisis.
Through our ongoing support as the main sponsor for Donate IT, we help enable the redistribution of refurbished technology to schools, charities, and individuals who need it most. This partnership demonstrates that sustainability and data security can and should go hand in hand.
